Our treatments are just what
A Client Intake form will be requested before you start with your massage. Following that, the therapist will ask you a series of questions to identify what areas you’d like worked on, to understand if there is any specific area that needs to be treated, and whether massage is appropriate for you.
A session includes the type of massage that you booked, time for you to dress and undress, and time for you to interact with the therapist so that your massage is completely personalised. This is done to guarantee that each massage service provided by Beauty & Massage Port Douglas meets or exceeds your expectations.
You and your therapist will discuss which techniques are best for you before your session begins so that you get the most out of your massage.
Getting a massage on an occasional basis may be sufficient for you if you’re just looking for some relaxation. If you are looking to address a specific condition, it is recommended to go more frequently at first and then gradually taper down to a maintenance schedule. Sometimes more frequent 60-minute sessions are effective until your goals are met and a maintenance schedule is instituted.
It is recommended that you not book a massage if you have a fever, cold/flu, or contagious skin infection. Your therapist may also need to adjust his/her technique if you have other medical conditions (such as arthritis or osteoporosis) or avoid certain areas of treatment (such as cuts or burns).
There are some conditions, such as cancer, certain heart conditions, and pregnancy, where you should get a physician’s approval before you receive a massage.
Most people report feeling relaxed. Some also report experiencing a decrease in their long-term aches and pains. Other people feel slowed down and then notice increased energy and increased productivity. Whenever you receive a deep massage, you may feel a bit sore the next day, much like you do after a good workout at the gym.
Is the Henna Brow right for you? Henna is a 99.5% natural product that has the ability to stain the hair and the skin. Unlike regular tints, they do not contain ammonia or peroxides. It is excellent for those who have trouble growing their brow hair.
The results depend on your lifestyle and the type of skin you have. But usually, you can expect the skin stain to gradually fade over 7–14 days and the hair tint to last for weeks. Sometimes, the henna just doesn’t take well to certain people’s skin. Your lifestyle plays a big part in the longevity. Excessive sweating, using face products on the eye area, etc. will all result in your henna brows fading faster than usual.
Absolutely no, we offer a different range of colours for blondes, brunettes, etc. We also custom blend the tint to best suit each individual client and their desired outcome.
For new customers wanting Henna Brows for the first time, it’s important to do a patch test first. We apply some henna on the inside of the elbow or wrist. If there are no reactions such as redness, burning, or itching within 48 hours, you can receive henna brow treatment safely.
The manual face lift procedure involves a strong massage to lift the face and restructure the muscles of the face and chin. I have chosen this technique on numerous occasions for facial treatments, and I always get excellent results.
A well-done facial helps tighten pores and firm the skin. This reduces wrinkles, making you look much younger in the process. If you are a person who wears a lot of makeup, it is a good idea to get a facial to help keep the skin and pores clean. In addition, the facial treatments help in cases of acne and loss of tone and hyperpigmentation, especially if supported by a good skin routine even at home.
